Booking an aesthetic spot designated for shooting, where you don't have to deal with special permits and wandering tourists walking into your shots, has never been so easy. Without further ado, here are the top Bali photoshoot locations for content creators to get you hyped for your next photography or videography project:
Bali Arts District
The Bali Arts District in Canggu is a one-stop-shooting shop. The creative hub has a variety of studio spaces fit for pretty much whatever project you have in mind. The studios feature dynamic, adaptable settings for fashion, lifestyle, or artistic projects. They are also great Bali photoshoot locations for showcasing furniture in environments that highlight design and functionality. Moreover, as content creators ourselves, we know shoots can get chaotic and heated (literally with the Bali heat). Good thing all Bali Arts District studios have hair and makeup rooms set up with AC, racks, and steamers. Seamless outfit changes and styling? Yes, please. Sculpture Studio

The villa's furnished with a variety of aesthetic props from Marrakech, India, Africa, and the Middle East. With a courtyard at the centre of an open layout, this Bali photography studio offers plenty of shooting areas, including a white pool, bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, and living space. Haveli suits both larger-scale and intimate photoshoots.

We've carefully crafted a space that feels serene—an oasis in the middle of a desert—while incorporating all the modern comforts that define a luxury home. What stands out most to us are the staircases. The way the clean lines contrast with the natural, raw finishes creates an ideal backdrop for photos. One of our most unforgettable experiences was when Bali Starz took over the entire hotel for a photoshoot, bringing in their full crew and models. It was a remarkable production.''
El Barrio
Trying to mix it up and inject some personality into your project? El Barrio is a fun boutique hotel and restaurant in Umalas with character. Taking inspiration from the kaleidoscopic streets of Mexico and the lively favelas of Brazil, shoot here for pops of colour and different textures. Managed by Bali property management baddie House of Reservations, this location can be booked for your photography and videography shoots. Although you have to consider that there could be other guest staying there as well. We've already booked this location multiple times and we never had any issues with the other guest. The host Gede is also very friendly and helpful.

The Savanna in Canggu
If you need a larger, more private space for your shoot, have a look at Villa Savanna. This tropical three-bedroom villa with a Mediterranean twist is located in the heart of Canggu. Every corner of this luxurious yet comfy villa offers a fresh visual.
Casa Blooms
Casa Blooms is a bright two-bedroom villa in Canggu, was designed with careful attention to natural light. Its breezy Mediterranean style features intricate geometric patterns and lush interiors. This location is great for projects that need both indoor and outdoor shots. It’s particularly suitable for furniture shoots, as their own furniture, including the dining table, is completely removable, offering flexibility.
The space was originally built as a home. Interestingly, people started inquiring about the space for photoshoots, and the shift into offering it as a shoot location happened organically. With perks like AC in every room, it makes for a very comfortable shooting location for the crew (WE LOVE THAT!). Their in-house staff can support during intensive shoots, and we can confirm from our own experience that they are incredibly kind and helpful.
As of now, the villa is only open for photoshoot bookings, and not for overnight stays. The owners mentioned they are opening a new villa soon, and we are very excited to see what they come up with this time.
